Capital Area Wrestling News - MARCH/APRIL 95

March/April 1995

About Our Newsletter

This is our first edition for the 1995 season, and the beginning of our sixth year of publication. The Capital Area Wrestling News is published by Southern Maryland Wrestling Club in coordination with the Capital Area Wrestling Council, a group consisting of AAU and USAW wrestling clubs located in the Washington D.C. Region.

Out of Area Club Activities

Mike Sola of Pennsylvania's Road Warriors says they also have a very strong club this season. Road Warriors pounded everyone at Drexell Hill and at Norristown, and look tougher than they have been for the past 3 or 4 years.

Bruce Kennett of Team Renagade (young Foxcatchers) will coordinate Pennsylvania's entry at the Challenge Cup this year. Bruce says he is two deep in each weight and has a very strong team.

Southern Maryland Wrestling Club Pictures

Southern Maryland Wrestling Club will be taking its annual group picture for the spring flyer on Thursday, March 16, towards the end of practice. If possible, all members, especially Hall-of- Fame members, should make a special effort to attend practice that night.
